The Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM third annual ‘Mirchi Sangeetha award’ is jury head is nationally acclaimed music director and lyricist Hamsalekha.

The films of 2011 will be considered in this award. The lifetime achievement award and jury award are the new categories introduced. From cinema division six awards, upcoming singers four will be selected, Mirchi audience selection select two a film for technical excellence the awards will be selected.

Music directors and lyricists Gurukiran, Sadhu Kokila, K Kalyan, V Harikrishna, Kaviraj are assisting Hamsalekha in the selection.

The awards for 2011 will be given on August 4 at Hyderabad. Mirchi Music Awards South is the only award across the country that is solely dedicated to excellence in South film music. This award was launched in South India, first in the year 2010. This year marks the third year of this grand event.
